Sheila Bair, chairperson of the Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation (FDIC), believes that mortgage renegotiations are the best
way to resolve the current housing crisis.
While Sheila Bair believes in Loan Modifications or mortgage renegotiation she is continuing to find deep criticism for her view.
I think the harder thing for these critics to acknowledge is that we are halfway there, meaning that the foreclosures have not and will not stop. So while all the players are bickering about how to handle the situation people are losing their homes and the market is further deflating. Like a balloon losing air..HSSSSS

I found your site as I was looking for ideas to get my own loan modified as seems a shame not participate in a way of reducing our house payment. When we spend less on housing we can all stimulate the economy with our spendable cash. Right? It pays to complain! Washington has their ears open for any problems with banks not stepping up to the plate to help homeowners with their modification woes.
